  • January 2026 = 14%
  • Detached homes = 10% 
  • Condos =15%
  • Townhomes = 12%
  • Same as last month = 14%
  • Higher than January 2025 = 13%
  • Lower than 5yr January average = 20% 
  • Lower than 10yr January average = 21%
  • **Buyer’s market = <12% / Balanced market = 12%-20% / Seller’s market = >20%**

Sales:

  • January 2026 = 40
  • Same as last month = 40
  • Higher than January 2025 = 34
  • Same as 5yr avg = 40
  • Lower than 10yr avg = 42
  • 5% Lower than 10yr avg

Inventory:

  • January 2026 = 296
  • Lower than last month =297
  • Higher than January 2025 = 262
  • Higher than the 5yr avg = 213
  • Higher than the 10yr avg = 222

In a nutshell
January was a pretty good month for real estate in Whistler! 40 sales, inline with the 5 & 10 year averages and the highest Jan since 2022.
