August 2013 was a great month for real estate sales in Whistler:
Sales overall $ and # sold were higher in August 2013 than both Aug 2012 & Aug 2011.
The sales volume in units sold was higher in Aug 2013 than any other month in 2013!
In fact, the only other months that had a higher volume of units sold in the last 3 years, was Oct 2012 & Oct 2011.
The # of listings continues to be DRAMATICALLY (check out the graph below) lower than this time for the previous 4 years.
Cumulative $ sales for 2013 is higher than 2011, 2010, and 2009.
What’s selling? Everything. Townhomes & Phase II condos had the most dramatic increase in sales, but everything is selling.
